One quiet evening, as the sun disappeared behind the mountains, night slowly spread across the little village.

The flowers closed their petals. The birds returned to their nests. The animals found warm, cozy places to sleep. Even the little river became quiet, as if it wanted to listen to the sounds of the night.

The children looked up at the sky and saw something wonderful.

The sky was filled with stars!

There was one star here, another there, and then hundreds more, until the whole sky looked like a dark blue blanket covered with thousands of tiny, sparkling lights.

But that night was different.

Suddenly, the stars began to twinkle one after another.

Twinkle... twinkle... twinkle...

Then, from among the stars, a tiny golden light appeared.

It grew brighter and brighter until it became a glowing golden ball floating high above the village.

Then a soft, gentle voice came from inside the light.

"Do not be afraid of the night... We are here."

The children looked at one another in amazement.

"Did the stars just speak?" one little girl whispered.

The star giggled softly.

"Yes," it said. "But we only speak when the world becomes quiet and everyone is ready for sleep."

Then the star sent a thin golden beam of light down toward the earth.

When the light touched a tall old tree, its leaves began to sparkle like tiny pieces of glass.

The golden light reached the river next.

The water began to shine like a silver road beneath the moon.

Then the light traveled across the fields, touching the sleeping flowers. One by one, they began to glow, until the meadow looked as if hundreds of little stars had fallen from the sky.

But the biggest surprise was waiting in the forest.

Deep inside the forest, the animals began to wake.

A little rabbit peeked out of its burrow.

An owl opened its bright eyes.

The squirrels climbed carefully down from the trees.

Then, right in front of them, a long golden path appeared.

The path stretched across the ground and slowly rose toward the sky!

The animals followed it, filled with wonder.

Higher and higher they went until they reached a place no one on Earth had ever seen before.

Above the clouds stood a magnificent palace.

Its towers were made of moonlight, its windows were made of sparkling crystals, and its walls shimmered like the night sky.

Inside the palace lived the Queen of the Stars.

She wore a beautiful crown made from seven tiny stars, and her silver hair sparkled like moonbeams.

"Welcome," she said with a warm smile.

The animals bowed politely.

The Queen pointed toward a large golden chest beside her.

"Every night," she explained, "we send our light down to Earth to remind everyone that they are never truly alone."

Then she opened the chest.

Inside were thousands of colorful dreams.

There was a blue dream that looked like the ocean.

A green dream filled with forests and singing birds.

A pink dream covered with butterflies.

And a golden dream that looked like the first light of morning.

"The dreams of children," said the Queen, "must reach their owners before they fall asleep."

She lifted her hands.

The golden chest opened wider, and thousands of tiny dreams floated into the air.

They looked like glowing butterflies dancing among the stars.

Each dream traveled toward a different home.

One dream flew through a little boy's window.

That night, he dreamed he could fly above the clouds, higher than the tallest mountain.

Another dream floated into a little girl's room.

She dreamed of a magical garden where the trees could talk and the birds could sing beautiful songs.

Other dreams traveled to children who were afraid of the dark.

Those dreams brought them peaceful pictures of warm blankets, friendly animals, glowing flowers, and bright stars.

Slowly, the whole village became quieter.

The trees stopped rustling.

The river became still.

The animals returned to their cozy homes.

Inside the houses, the children closed their eyes and fell peacefully asleep.

But the stars did not sleep.

They stayed high above the village, shining brightly in the night sky.

One by one, they watched over the sleeping world.

There were a thousand stars, and every single one carried a tiny light that looked like a smile.

Before the night came to an end, the Queen of the Stars looked down at Earth and whispered:

"Always remember... even when you cannot see the way, there is always a little light somewhere to guide you home."

Then she returned to her palace above the clouds and gently closed its shining doors.

The stars remained in the sky until morning.

When the children finally woke, they could not remember every detail of their dreams.

But they remembered how they felt.

Safe.

Happy.

And peaceful.

From that day on, whenever night arrived and the stars appeared in the sky, the children would look up and smile.

They knew the stars were not simply little lights shining far away.

They were tiny guardians of dreams, carrying peace from the sky to the Earth and reminding everyone of one beautiful secret:

No matter how dark the night may seem, there is always a little light waiting to shine.
