The Wise Old Owl

Animals
During the day, Oliver rested peacefully among the branches. But when the sun set and the stars began to appear, he spread his wide wings and quietly flew through the moonlit forest, making sure every animal was safe.
One calm evening, while gliding beneath the glowing Moon, Oliver heard a soft sound.
Someone was crying.
He followed the sound until he found a little rabbit sitting alone beneath a bush. Tears filled the rabbit's eyes, and his little ears drooped sadly.
Oliver landed gently beside him.
"What's wrong, little one?" he asked kindly.
The rabbit sniffled and replied, "I was playing all afternoon and didn't notice that the sun had gone down. Now it's dark, and I can't find my burrow."
Oliver smiled warmly.
"Don't worry," he said. "Every problem has a solution."
He lifted one wing toward the night sky.
"Look up. Do you see that bright star shining above the trees?"
The little rabbit looked up.
"Yes," he said. "It's the brightest star I can see."
Oliver nodded.
"That star always points toward the carrot fields. Your burrow is just beside them. Follow me, and I'll guide you safely home."
The little rabbit smiled with relief.
Together, they made their way through the quiet forest. Oliver flew gently from tree to tree while the rabbit hopped along the moonlit path below.
As they traveled, they crossed a little wooden bridge over a bubbling stream. Fireflies danced through the air like tiny lanterns, and crickets played a peaceful nighttime song. The cool breeze rustled the leaves, making the whole forest feel calm and welcoming.
Before long, the sweet smell of fresh carrots filled the air.
Oliver smiled.
"We're almost there."
A few moments later, the rabbit spotted the familiar carrot field. Beside it stood his cozy burrow, where his family was waiting anxiously outside.
The moment they saw him, they hurried over and wrapped him in warm hugs.
"I found my way because Oliver helped me," the little rabbit said happily.
His parents thanked the wise owl for his kindness and guidance.
Oliver simply smiled.
"I'm always happy to help a friend."
With one final wave of his wing, he soared back to the top of his tall pine tree. From there, he watched over the peaceful forest as the stars twinkled above.
That night, Oliver was reminded that true wisdom is not only knowing the right path, but also helping others find theirs.
Goodnight, little dreamers. May your heart always be kind, and may you never miss the chance to help someone find their way home.
